Vaneli Munir just left the team this afternoon, after 6 and a half season in the team he helped to climb up the ranking ladder. With not less than 21 results ! (17 in 1st division, 3 in 2nd and 1 in 3rd) and including 6 victories (5 in 1st division, the last one in 2nd), we can say he was one of the best time trialist the team ever had, and we thank him for this.
He was a very valuable rider to the team, giving all his experience to the youngest riders like Montelbano. We'll trully miss him, and of course we wish him the best for the rest of his career in his new team, CPU. A new challenge for him after all those years at the top.
We also want to thanks the manager who sold Vaneli to our team, Tim Johnson from Gradient Levellers. He knew Munir wouldn't have been able to bloom and shine in his team, as he could have done in another one, and he opted for Matrix Team, which was not the worst choice it seems.
The representative of Matrix Team's fan added that all fans wanted to honor Vaneli Munir by saying he was one symbol of Matrix Team, through all his successes and his constancy.
Eventually, we want to welcome the incoming Tarjei Amundsen, a talented climber time trialist, who will try to bring something new for the team, and will happily contribute to his captains in Tours when needed.

Vaneli Munir ne fait plus partie de l'équipe depuis cet après-midi. Durant presque 7 saisons, il aura été un élément essentiel de notre évolution et de nos progrès.
21 résultats majeurs (17 en top division, 3 en 2ème et 1 en 3ème) dont 6 victoires !
Il a sans aucun doute été l'un de nos meilleurs spécialistes du CLM, et nous le remercions pour tout ce qu'il a apporté à l'équipe.
Il était bien sur un membre important de Matrix Team, prodiguant son expérience aux plus jeunes comme Montelbano et il va sincèrement nous manquer. Nous lui souhaitons bien sur le meilleur pour la suite de sa carrière, au sein de l'équipe CPU. Un challenge qu'il relèvera sans aucun doute.
Nous avons également une pensée pour Tim Johnson, le manager de Gradient Levellers, qui nous a cèdé Vaneli à ses débuts. Tim avait bien sur noté son potentiel, mais savait que son équipe n'était pas la plus adaptée pour Vaneli, et il nous l'a proposé, sachant que Vaneli serait plus épanoui et aurait plus de chance de briller à Matrix Team. Après coup, on ne peut pas dire que ça ait été une erreur.
Le porte-parole des fans de l'équipe a tenu à ajouter que tous étaient d'accord pour dire que Vaneli Munir était et resterait un symbole de Matrix Team, de part ses succès et sa régularité.
Enfin, et pour terminer, nous somme heureux d'annoncer l'arrivée de Tarjei Amundsen, un très jeune et prometteur spécialiste du CLM, particulièrement en côte. Il apportera une nouvelle plus-value à l'équipe, et sera heureux d'aider ses capitaines lors des Tours qui sont devenus un nouvel objectif pour nous.

Thanks for Munir, he just completed his second race for me, leaving me with 2 wins (both in division 7 due to me dropping with having no races because of vacation and changing my team
He did very well for you in the end. Amundsen looks very nice...
